As far as I’m concerned one of those comments has come worryingly close to nailing it – we can’t have an outright WM majority under FPTP, but apparently smaller parties working with de facto majorities under a PR-based system and parties huddling up on certain issues is called “consensus” and totally fine.
Meanwhile, let the bullying continue for councils who defy the regime.
It’s a good budget this time round with the scraps Westminster let them have. If only Glasgow was 400 miles more south then we might have a better underground system than a wee shitey circle.
