  11. This has been going on for years. At this point I wonder if there is a single elected politician in Mexico that is not in the pocket of the cartels.

    It is ridiculous how many of their politicians mysteriously drop out or are attacked publicly. Clearly their democracy is failing. You have to assume everyone who gets elected is somehow endorsed by the cartels or at least working with them on some level…

  19. America needs to go into Mexico and wipe out the cartels. It’s insane just how many Americans are being killed from drug overdoses that are ignored because it’s not an official war. “But you can’t take out the cartels it’s too many” yeah okay those guys barely know math beyond what they need to make the next batch of crack. Drugs destroy communities,families and the individual and these cartels have to be stopped and Mexico is incapable of doing so alone.

  23. Always blows my mind how cartels are cartels and all but “left alone” unless they’re inside the US border, but terrorists get taken down. Can’t we consider cartels to be terrorists and then take them down too? Oh wait, we can’t because then the CIA won’t have unlimited black budgets and where or where are Americans going to get their illegal drugs?! I swear sometimes reality feels like a joke.

  31. I’m not advocating for violence or war, but it baffles me that the United States has spent decades fighting in the Middle East while Mexico veers ever closer toward becoming a failed state.
