Thing to watch now is how high the uncommitted vote is in the congressional districts around Detroit.

Happy to cast my vote for Joe Biden
Arab-Americans: If you are planning on staying home or voting against Biden over Palestine, [this is what Donald Trump has planned for you](https://imgur.com/a/EQilsqA), literally from his own campaign team.
So far with only 12% reporting, uncommitted is just under 18,500 votes
This story is definitely ballooned bigger and treated with more scrutiny than what was happening. The biggest take away ***should be*** that Biden is losing support of Arab-Americans in a close battleground state where 5%+ of the voting population is Arab American. The story ***Should Not Be*** that Biden won, as if it were a close contest.it never was going to be.
Indeed he did. However, we shouldn’t celebrate yet. Rather, we should see if he gets above 80%. It’s looking like he can do it right now, but if he can’t, it’d be best for him to reassess what happened to get uncommitted so high and target those voters.
This is the most polite form of protest you can have, with zero consequences… yet people still will complain that its bad somehow.
People have a right to protest, especially when we’re talking billions of dollars of our money going to things that are morally abhorrant for any democracy to be supporting.
Biden defeats Trump in Michigan.

Uncommitted is the new Jill Stein. Purism is how we get Donald Trump and the end of Democracy.
Are you gonna post an article on how this is bad for Biden tomorrow?
“Uncommitted” is the new “walk away”.
Anyway, everyone knows that Biden and Trump were going to be the noms. Why is the media always so surprised.
How is Biden supposed to deliver a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip? That’s the question I have for those who voted against Biden; notwithstanding his State Department’s efforts to try to negotiate a ceasefire
Blaming Biden for Gaza strikes me as the same as blaming him for gas prices, high food bills, etc..
The real headline should be that uncommitted vote. That’s significantly higher than anyone expected for a shoestring movement with no money
Hey Michigan, you think Trump cares about Gaza?!?
Go complain to Hamas and Netanyahu if you want a ceasefire in Gaza. This attempt to blame Biden is fundamentally wrongheaded. Trump will be far less conciliatory toward the Palestinians than Biden has been.
Okay vote uncommitted people you’ve had your fun,
Now we need you to be serious
Spoiler. He’s going to win in North Carolina because he’s the only Democrat on the ballot.
22% uncommitted. Is this the Palestinian effect?
Trump wins with only 70% of the vote and this sub is drooling over a fractured GOP.
Biden wins with 78% and this sub is “haha, this is fine for Biden”
What’s the cutoff? 75%?
I don’t think this is the end of Biden, but they didn’t do well here as they expected in a *swing state*.
Game changer
This one issue Palestine vote is so stupid. If
You think Trump would do anything to help Palestinians I have a bridge to sell you.
voted for Biden, kinda thought after I voted I should have grabbed a gop ballot and voted for haley.
It’s crazy this is the best option out there.
This will be an unpopular position here but if the GOP wasn’t racist most Muslim Americans would support Trump no matter what Biden did. Biden could have spent the last six months rescuing children from rubble personally, and most Muslims would be at best tepid in their support.
Look at the GOP platform outside of racism. Anti-LGBT, Anti-Women, Anti-Choice, Pro-religion in schools, courthouses, and laws, and a half dozen other issues. That’s very similar to the general Muslim position in most places. If the GOP weren’t Christian Nationalists the Muslim vote would fall their way every time.
People who are voting uncommitted were looking for an excuse to dump the Democrats because they don’t support most of the Democrat platform. They just don’t want to be murdered for not being Christian.
Amd last I checked, he was slightly outperforming the most recent polls while Trump was underperforming the polls. Can’t wait for the headlines in the morning to declare that Trump SMASHED the competition but how there are WARNING SIGNS for the Democrats.
He just has to survive past the election.
TRUMP 2024
I listened to a piece from NYT, about an Arab refugee from the 70s and she just couldn’t vote Agaisnt her conscious. Something easier about living with an act or omission vs commission.
As it stands as of this post it’s 50% reporting:
Biden – 369,400
Uncommitted – 61,403
Marianne Williamson – 13,827
Dean Phillips – 12,961
Compared to the Republican results currently at 62%:
Donald Trump – 532,750
Nikki Hailey – 207,960
Uncommitted – 22,483
Ron Desantis – 9,420
Misc. – 8,518
It’s still WAY early to gleam results or theory-craft how the upcoming election will go in the general but the amount uncommitted on the Democratic results should be concerning statement since these are messaging/protest votes for Biden to do better as the main democrat candidate.
