  1. Bring them to the bank.

Or put them in the bath and do a Scrooge McDuck.

  2. Sell them to tourists as souvenirs! Probably worth a lot more that way

  3. There’s a shop in Ceardlann in Spiddal, Galway that would love those for jewelry.

  4. Clean them up. Drill a small hole and add a key ring and sell them.

  5. I paid £15 in a place in England for a little pill box made of Irish 2p coins which were curved into kinda dome shapes. They each had a brass ring on one side which slotted together. There were others for £20 and £25 made of 20p and 1 punt coins

  6. You can still get the auld coins exchanged for €. How much do you think you have?

  7. Take bets on how many you can stick up your bum. Winner gets to keep the remaining coins.

  8. Put them into a sock and beat people who owe you money!

  9. Hit up your closest lap dancing club and make it rain.

  10. Keep em for a while away in the attic and sell em on later in life.

  11. To the train tracks!!!!!! Still wear a drilled 1p on a chain me and an old friend had a train flatten for us as teens. Sadly she’s no longer with us 🙁

  12. I watch way too much crap on TV. Where did you find them? The could be the leftovers of a robbery. All the cheaper coins just left somewhere, as trying to cash that much small coins could have drawn attention.

  13. They work as €2 coins in super market trollies

  14. Given the high price of copper right now. Take them down to a scrap yard 😂

  15. Start selling the good quality ones to people who want a coin from their birth year.

  16. If you have enough, I’ve seen lads use 1’s & 2’s to make a table top or flooring. With a resin poured over looks class.

  17. Build yourself a time machine and buy yourself a pint and a packets of crips

  18. If you find a good way to cash in/out, let me know. Had an uncle for a while back and he left 19lb of old English and Irish pennies, and probably a similar mass of sixpence, threepenny bits, florins, shillings and half crowns. In in Canada, and we don’t have accessible railway lines here.

  19. I imagine a lot of folks would consider you very lucky!

  20. Leave them inside a cadt iron pit, wait for a day of sun, spray water avove the cadt iron pot, wait for leprechaun, mug leprachaun, profit

  21. British 2p coins work in the laundry machines as $1 in my Toronto rental building. As far as I remember the Irish and British 2p coins were the same size?

I’d recommend partnering with a GAA club and flying to Canada with dozens of loads of dirty socks to wash at a massive discount.

  22. Make some jewellery out of them, I’d buy one

Edit, give them to me and I’ll make earrings 😂😂😂
