[FcIN] On Simone Inzaghi, the only club that has concrete interest is Chelsea. Inzaghi is on Chelsea’s list as a replacement for Pochettino, but is not the only name. Inzaghi is happy at Inter and in the coming weeks, the club will open talks with his agent to extend his contract, expiring in 2025.

    No reason to go abroad if he can achieve the highest of laurels at home with Inter. I don’t know what this season holds for us, but I’ll tell you one thing. This team is on the right track and it fucking shows. Nothing to envy about any other club in Europe. NOTHING.

  5. Then what once he’s inevitably sacked in less than two seasons. Theres only so many top jobs in Europe, makes much more sense to be a long-term option with Inter. I think he has ambition but also feel like he understands what he’s got going right now

  8. He can earn nothing but money at Chelsea. The club is definitely not the best choice for top class managers. He has fans respect, a non-interfering chairman, the best transfer team one can imagine, and a team that he could win trophies with, and Chelsea owns none of the above.

  9. If I were Inzaghi I would stay. While we might not be paying the highest he can earn, he can bump up salary through contract renewals and things are just going extremely well at the moment. No reason to throw away what he’s built and join a shit club.

  10. Chelsea is not a good place to go right now. Their fanbase seem to have unrealistic expectations of how long it can take to break out of a banter era on the back end of financial mismanagement and that is a recipe for good managers to become fired too quickly and then end up at Roma or back to Lazio.

    I hope he stays to see out the project.
