This was the one where Luke allegedly tweeted ” *Sapirse mchugh photo skinnydipping* ” at 02:50.
I have to admit, as far as making him look like a perv, it was genius. You could see on the old threads here that absolutely no-one believed it was a legitimate fake tweet (myself included tbf).
Damn. My money was on Rebecca Vardy
>A Belgian public prosecutor has sought a one year prison term for Hayes.
How likely is this? Seems a bit excessive.
Fair play Ming, I didn’t believe you for ages on that one.
Well I’ll be. There you go.
Can you imagine the prison yard
1: What you all in for?
2: GBH
3: Drug possession
4: Theft
5: Er …..
Whatever your politics, it’s a pretty terrible thing to have happen. It must have been very upsetting at the time.
I really feel for him. Nobody believed him, including myself.
I must admit, I doubted ming.
But I still think its a very funny story.
Sorry about all those things I said Ming. You were right.
This the guy? loooooooool Can’t be too many Diarmuid Hayes in Brussels in the “communication” racket.
Although I understand this is the colloquial meaning of “hacking”, since this guy was a parliamentary assistant he probably wasn’t hacked. Flanagan probably left himself logged in somewhere or his computer unlocked.
Obviously your man’s a scumbag for the reputational damage is prank caused.
I’ve genuinely never believed a politician’s “I was hacked” story, but it turns out he was!
Hopefully he sues your man for defamation.
The article says that tweet actually included a picture of someone skinnydipping.
>Diarmuid Hayes, 34, from Dublin, was convicted in a Belgian court of posting a naked picture of an Irish Green Party candidate from Mr Flanagan’s account in September 2020.
>The court heard that Mr Hayes had posted an image of Saoirse McHugh swimming naked just before 3am on 28 September 2020.
Is that right? I was sure it was just a tweet with the text “Sapirse mchugh photo skinnydipping”. And it was supposed to look like he meant to do a google search or something. I didn’t think there was an actual picture posted.
