  1. Volluntary. “Wir laden Sie dazu ein” means “We invite you to…”. So you can if you want but you dont have to.

  2. Do not see anywhere why it should be mandatory. I mean did they even offer you pay? I would not work for anyone without fair pay in the first place.

  3. voluntary.
I did something like that once and got 1 free ticket for a cinema of my choice, best seats, any film. No food/drinks included tho lol.

  4. You could get a penance up to 1000 swiss francs for not doing it.

A colleague of mine got a penance of 300 Swiss Francs.

  5. Voluntary but do it. You get one free voucher for the cinema, valid anywhere for any showing. Pro tip, use it for an imax screening or an expensive showing like that

  6. Voluntary, but as someone who used to work for one of the institutions doing surveys for the Bund, I’d suggest to just fill it in online. Otherwise depending on how important this survey is they might contact you several times. Slightly annoying, but you can always block them.

  7. I believe it is voluntary along as enough people fill it out. If too few do it’s mandatory and those that didnt while invited receive a fine.

    Appearently that has never happened.

  8. Voluntary, but it’s for the Ministry of Economy, so the data is actually used for the common good.

  9. I would like to get on a list that I always get these surveys because you always get a free ticket or a voucher for something.

  10. Voluntarily, but you should participate, if you want your data/opinion/life-situation to be properly represented and future policy be based on this.

  11. Are you applying for a new visa or permit?

The Swiss authorities are known for using so-called questionnaires or interviews in order to find out about your exact employment situation or work motivation. Don’t do it!

  12. If it were mandatory (which it isn’t) they would have to add a deadline by which you’d have to do this survey

  13. This is the cantonal immigration office in disguise: They want to know whether you have an unlimited work contract and if there is a chance that you might apply for social security benefits in the near future. They are not allowed to ask it directly from you or yodr employer. Happened to me every time when I was about to extend my work permit or receive my Niederlassungs-permit.
