The worst parking ticket I ever got was really a I hate Mondays stories. For 6 months I had regularly used a “free parking zone” by a closed factory. I left it there on a Friday. Had the day of Monday. When I came to pick it up Tuesday morning there has been painted parking lines around my car and right in front of the car a sign stating 30 minutes limited parking zone 7 to 16 on workdays.
When they paint white lines around your car and give you a parking ticket, then you know its a Monday.
As a Serbian (who lives in Bosnia) I can confirm this stuff happens all the time.
If I was the one handing out tickets I’d have done the exact same thing. That’s just too great a story to pass up.

Display or not, park it legally.

So they just left an F1 car on the street with no one guarding it?
I hope they come to Finland next, i always wanted to drive one.
Meanwhile in Portugal, you leave your car in the middle of a road for weeks and get no parking ticket.
It’s just free PR. Some years we got some for my city when some parking warden had fun sticking a ticket to a lorry that was obviously a piece of art.
