Hello everyone,
I need some help with the residence permit that just have to get in order to follow my masters programme in Denmark.
My questions are:
I’m a EU citizen, so can I get the EU residence certificate (EU-students) instead of the residence permit? And is there any difference? Would I still be able to work part time and get the SU ? If I get the the EU certificate won’t I be able to do something or would I miss something?
And what do they mean by Declaration of sufficient funds ?
In the original residence permit it says that you have to prove with a bank document.(https://nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/You-want-to-apply/Study/Higher-education) That means that you have to show an account with DKK 6,397 x 12 months?
But in the EU certificate it says that you have just to sing that you are able to support yourself (https://nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/You-want-to-apply/Residence-as-a-Nordic-citizen-or-EU-or-EEA-citizen/EU-student). Is that enough?

I’d recommend that you contact SIRI, which is the authority on EU, work and student permits. You can call them on 72 14 20 00, or write to them on their contact form on nyidanmark.
You want the EU visa, but as previously stated, contact Siri.
