  1. That’s insanely high up, can someone who knows military stuff explain how this works? It feels way too far away

  2. First one looked like a proper airburst, second like a shaped charge triggered in the air? I guess that’s still an airburst technically but interesting to see the difference of anti personal vs shaped charge

  3. Exploded a little too high imo. They will learn from this though

  4. Damn cluster drones now… Birds are going to be extinct from the countermeasures created from this war. at some point anything flying is going to get shot down by other drones.

  5. Didnt they also use fixed wing drones with air burst to attack the Shaykovka or pskov air base last year?

Those had a box like pattern, never saw them after that

  6. That’s brutal. I’ve heard about the himars rockets full of ball bearings that are meant to be devastating. This feels like a smaller, in a way more accurate, version of that.

I know himars are already very accurate but something about being able to hover this level of destruction over the enemy with a camera on it and decide ‘aaaaaaand….. now’ feels like you could confirm the effectiveness more reliably.

  7. Damn that’s a terrifying death march to witness. Watching a drone rain down shrapnel on the guys in front of you, then someone comes on your left explodes

  8. Absolutely beautiful.

Doesn’t one of those dorks get hit by something different at 14 seconds? If so, what was his spicy surprise?

  9. Is the second explosion some kind of mine? You can see the dirt kick up in front and behind the guy just before what looks like a shape charge going off at ground level blasting up and away? I could be way off.

  10. The signature of the explosion looks a lot like an airburst mortar shell. I wonder if that’s what they’re carrying on these drones.

Also, that second shot was rather personal I thought.

  11. Going to be VERY useful for trench clearing….and clearing mines too.

  12. How’s it going in Ukraine? Last I heard was that they where kind of stagnated

  13. Me:” Ummm, that looked like a cluster munitions.” 5 seconds later, “oh, that wasn’t”.

  14. Oh man.

Imagine how many of them are looking up too or towards the drone at the time it goes off….

A bunch of ball bearings and shrapnel directly into their faces and necks…

  15. The total disregard for their own troops being hit is so telling. Are russians born without human decency or compassion? I suppose the majority of their troops right now are societal derelicts and prisoners but it’s a rare day to see any one of them actually help another.
Honestly, their families don’t even deserve the sack of onions.

  16. “Everybody Gangsta till a Roomba with a Claymore rolls up”

  17. Most drones can lift up to 2kg, I’m surprised no one came up with the idea of strapping a Claymore AP to the bottom of a drone and using the manual trigger on some surprised Russian soldiers.

  18. Whatever that munition was, its effect was that of a mini himars. That was like a 300′ strip of a killzone. That must be super effective for trenches too.

  19. The amount of PTSD from veterans hearing drones after this war is going to be insane.

  20. trench lines about to see heavy rain in the coming days

  21. Now Ukraine has the whole Angry Birds arsenal. This was the blue bird being added.

  22. [By Orlivka, west of Avdiivka](https://www.google.com/maps/place/48%C2%B009'05.8%22N+37%C2%B039'36.7%22E/@48.1536717,37.6531996,2577m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d48.151606!4d37.660205?entry=ttu). Signs pointing towards Ukraine might have abandoned their positions right here since Russia are very close to Orlivka. Right now its still under control of Ukrainian forces though

  23. This type of warfare is evolving very quick, but the counter measure looks so far…
