New No10 party revealed as Boris Johnson set to blame aides to save his job

  1. >We can reveal Mr Johnson gave a speech at an event to mark defence adviser Captain Steve Higham’s Downing Street departure before Christmas in 2020. It is understood the PM was “there for a few minutes to thank him for his service” as a “small number of No10 staff briefly said goodbye”. The MoD declined to comment last night.

    From last Friday:

    >Former defence adviser Captain Steve Higham, who is currently the commander of HMS Prince of Wales, has been named by the Mirror as one attendee of ‘wine time Fridays’ hosted by Boris Johnson while tough mixing rules were still in place.
    >
    >It comes as it has been revealed even more social events were held by the prime minister as a way for aides to ‘let off steam’ at a time when two or more people from different households were banned from meeting.

    >(The Portsmouth News: [Sources claim commander of HMS Prince of Wales was a ‘regular’ at No 10 drinks events during lockdown](https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/politics/sources-claim-commander-of-hms-prince-of-wales-was-a-regular-at-no-10-drinks-events-during-lockdown-3528668))

  2. “What? Me, responsible for events at my own residence and offices? While literally the prime minister of the whole fucking country? Haha, no, I was never really in charge, it was all these other losers you’ve never heard of, yup definitely them, not me, your totally competent and trustworthy prime minister”

  3. I’d love to comment on this but I occasionally had a beer with dinner during lockdown which is the exact same thing and I don’t want to be a hypocrite

  4. At this point, can we just skip forward to the prime minister being held upside down by his ankles doing a keg stand in the COBRA room so the story can finally finish the fucking fop off?

  5. I’ve seen so many on twitter already blaming parties at number 10 on aides and civil servants while “poor Boris didn’t know! 😭”.

    Absolute joke.

  6. That’s not how leadership works. This clearly wasn’t a one off, he attended at least one of these events.

This utter cockwomble really doesn’t get that firing a few low level aids doesn’t change that these cunts were partying while average citizens were saying goodbye to loved ones on Zoom.

    Fuck these tory cunts.

  7. Why do we want someone running the country who doesn’t even know what’s happening in their own house????

And all this lapse in judgement nonsense. A lapse in judgement is wearing odd socks or forgetting a tie, not breaking the law

  8. The stories will come out every other day until people just get bored of it and it becomes normalised. So much scandalous behaviour from politicians has become normalised the last 6 years that they basically have a free ticket to do whatever the hell they like. Hopefully Boris doesn’t step down and the party is actually held accountable during the next GE. Wishful thinking, but that’s all there is left.

  9. He’s a weak, amoral, compulsively lying narcissist who’s only concerned with himself. I can’t think of one redeeming quality he has either in his personal or public life. Even his jovial personality is a complete act.

Hopefully history won’t be kind to his tenure as PM. He’s marked a real low point, even for the Tory party.

And hopefully people turn on him now and he gets the disgraced sendoff he deserves. You never know with that party of snakes though.

He needs to spend some time with his many children, however many that might be.

  10. I do wonder if Cummings has something big in reserve that he hasn’t leaked yet – like a MOAB leak guaranteed to take Boris down incase all these other small ones dont work. I really hope so.

  11. Note the photo of Oliver Dowden, which catches a particular expression of his very well. Anyone with a little understanding of body language will recognize a number of red flags in Dowdens behaviour and expressions. He is quick-witted and argues strongly, but certain subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) mannerisms reveal his true character as someone who is very aggressive and remorseless. Most apparent are certain moments, particularly immediately after responding to a question, where Dowden exudes a brief flash of utter disdain for the interviewer, with a real seething aggression which is quite noticable. He almost congratulates himself for giving such a robust answer. For me this is a sign of ‘duping delight’, a classic indicator of a sociopath. Dowden’s forced composure is reminiscent of a poker player, and you can see his mind working fast while he interprets questions.

I believe Dowden to be an extremely dangerous man. His performance in [this interview](https://youtu.be/Kkr074Wwoj0) will likely convince a lot of people. For me, it makes my skin crawl.

Edit to add, probably Trevor Phillips’ best interview ever

  12. They won’t sack Borish before April; they need someone to blame when we can’t afford heating and food.

  13. Operation “Save the big dog”. 😂 Something Boris thought of himself. As if Starmer isn’t going to use sacking his own staff to save himself in next prime ministers questions anyway because he will. Watch the red meat Mr Speaker!

  14. When are we calling for this golden maned cunt’s resignation? It’s been made abundantly clear in the past decade that Tories make absolute dogshit PMs

  15. Who. Fucking. Cares.

Doesn’t anybody else see that all this party bullshit is nothing more than a distraction from Priti’s insane authoritarian police powers bill?

That’s what people should be pissed off about. I bet half the numpties moaning about this bloody party have broken at least one lockdown restriction themselves at some point

  16. You should give a new first name for each party, because it’s becoming difficult to undersand what we’re talking about.

  17. Are we going to get a daily dashboard of parties like we did COVID cases? Seems to be rampant!

  18. Lets be honest…none of the aides expected anything else here

If your leadership is simultaneously partying and telling the peasants to isolate then surely even the thickest of aides can put two and two together on the topic of backbone

  19. What cracks me up about this whole scandal is that the Tories have done an *insane* amount of corrupt shit, but the fact they had parties while other people weren’t allowed to have parties is the shit that sticks.

Why didn’t people care when they broke electoral law? Why didn’t people care when lucrative Government positions designed to bring accountability were given to friends, family and mistresses? Why didn’t people care when taxpayer funds were used to extravagantly furnish an already furnished property? Why didn’t people care when they partnered with a data firm to illegally harvest data and use it to dishonestly manipulate users with campaigns that were riddled with lies? Why didn’t people care when huge government contracts were given to friends and family who had no proof they would even be able to fulfill said contracts?

Nah, it’s Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and his corrupt band of literal criminals having a bit of a gathering in the garden while everyone else is told to stay home that’s the problem.

I mean it *is* a problem, but it’s not the parties, it’s the flagrant disrespect and even disdain they have towards the people the claim to represent. They’re liars and snakes. Behind closed doors they laugh at the populace that voted for them, knowing they’re going to insidiously screw them out of their money at *every single turn*.

  20. With the more people he’s chucking under the buss I’m surprised that they haven’t quit on the cunt

  21. I hope the papers have a few more of these scoops, and are staggering their publication. That way, whenever BJ tries to interrupt the news cycle with some SUDDEN BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, we can release another scoop to get back on track.

  22. As a civil servant myself, I’d be quite happy if he threw them all under a bus as long as he joined them.

Regardless of what he did, the party was still organised and attended by civil servants that made the rest of us look bad.

  23. Words can’t express the distain I had for BJ before he got elected. Now it’s gone through the roof. Hate is such a strong emotion. I think anyone who attended or even knew about these parties ( although it’s beginning to sound like it was one long drunken cocaine fuelled shag fest ) needs to go. Remember the burning of money in front of homeless people 2017-ish, that’s what they are doing to each and every one of us. I just hope demonic scummings doesn’t think we’ll all love him now.
