Yea, this month has been great for TX and CA setting new records.
Looking at charts from this time just a year ago, the change is dramatic year over year.
It seems that each week, CAISO has experimented with lower and lowing NG on the grid. Today they dropped below 1.5GW on NG on the grid for a long period. The rest (>15GW) all renewables plus Diablo Canyon, and exporting significant energy too while dumping >3GW into batteries for the evening.
