  2. The entirety of the anti western block (NK, Iran, Russia and others) will ramp up their military industrial complexes for this war and make it more unstable in the process.

  3. This is likely how China is supplying Russia with offensive war material.

    They ship raw material, parts, and electronics to North Korea; who then builds the equipment and munitions. And then ships it to Russia.

  20. A few years back there was an article here that North Korea was, among other perils, “desperate for exports.” Because they had virtually none.

    I guess Russia provided them something to sell.

    Russia isn’t a rich country, and obviously neither is North Korea. But this will see some considerable growth in North Korea’s tiny economy.

  29. US defense manufacturers could make billions of dollars supplying Ukraine. As a capitalist society, that would be a huge boon to the economy. Yet Republicans, who used to support military and defense spending, are suddenly against giving money to defense makers?
