  9. I saw the soviet monuments in Berlin with my own eyes. It’s not about the memory of the fallen, it’s just another point of russian imperialism, it’s only necessary to say: it’s here, that’s why it’s our territory. Completely demolishing them would be a great solution, but instead they can be made completely apolitical, without russian words, without quotes from stalin and stars…

  10. For the people hating on the soviet memorial, please do bear in mind that it is a memorial to commemorate the war-dead from WW2, a lot of whom were Ukrainian. In fact, Ukrainians made up a large portion of the red army. The red army of the 1940’s were fighting Nazi’s, just as the Ukrainian army are fighting modern-day Nazi’s today. Their sacrifices during WW2 are important, even if the union they represented turned into the evil it sought to destroy. For that reason, the memorial should not be removed.

    However, putting this car in front of it is very valid, and serves as a poignant and moving reminder of what the Soviet Union turned into, and why it must be defeated.

  15. There was (is?) another car from a fleeing family in the Mauer Museum, also in Berlin. I was there weeks after the orcs started their invasion, it hit me like nothing else. I didn’t take any photos as: 1 – it felt wrong to do so, and 2 – that shot up civilian family car is etched into my brain

  17. Putin thinks killing churches, hospitals and all the innocent people is a sign of strength. He keeps underestimating what real patriotism is, and what they’re doing to hold these Bullies off.
