I just spent 6 months here in Germany renting out a room in a shared flat for €450/month. The lease was from October to the end of March, and I emailed my landlord on February 26 that I would be moving out on March 13. It’s now February 29, and he asked if I found a new tenant, which I said no because the contract ends at the end of March and that’s his job. Then he asked for my Kündigung, which as far as I understand is a termination letter. He says that it is too late now for the Kündigung, but that can’t be possible since I’m a full month out from the end of the contract. What do I do? (The clause is attached)
