Can she get it at a pharmacy? Plenty near me are offering to anyone over 16, some by appointment but loads are walk in as well. All free.
Edit: might be they are giving Moderna to over 30s and Pfizer to under 30s in the clinics? Find a pharmacy that does Pfizer and she would be good to go I think.
Isn’t it done by birth year?
Ugh my gp was giving boosters to anyone over 30 who had their second vaccine at least 3 months before. Got it done back in December… and local pharmacies were giving away boosters to anyone who wanted them too.
Any pharmacy will do it. Turn up five minutes before closing and they’ll want rid of the dose before it’s wasted.
The booking system accepts anyone over the age 16 FYI
I just walked into a pharmacy and they did it there and then (I’m 26)
So?
Outrageous
I’d double check this, as when I got my first jab I was 39 at the time and wasn’t 40 for another few months and it was based on year of birth.
This is because they’re only giving Moderna to 30+.
Jaysus. Some people still waiting on age based Boosters? I thought it was a free for all since Christmas?
ie. I (m/47) got my booster in Carlton Clinic in Bray on Monday 20th December and even then they’d opened up appointments and Walk-Ins to anyone over 16yo.
Everyone no matter what age were getting a Pfizer Booster in Carlton Clinic.
