Fox News should dedicate four years to obsessing over the Boebert Crime family.
If they don’t, or don’t in significant way, sue them for $787.5 million. It’s symbolic.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Fox does retract the stories. Why wouldn’t they? The harm is already done. If they retract the stories quietly none of their viewers would notice.
Back in the Cretaceous when I took journalism law, it was almost impossible for a public figure (Biden certainly qualifies, Hunter probably does also) to win a libel suit. You had to prove actual malice, not just a false statement. But there may very well be some internal communications now out in the wild that would make Fox’s behavior hit that standard.
