1. This has been making rounds recently. ex-DUP Deputy leader William Beattie leading the campaign to block the building of Poleglass as Catholics would get housing (which he thankfully failed in). It’s the glee he has at stopping a health center, doctor’s surgery, dentist surgery which is shocking.

   I think this is making the rounds as the dupers are trying to block Casement from being built and this same mentality is still with the dupers.

2. it’s before my time and absolutely mind boggling that people like this could be so openly and proudly bigoted. Not even a hint of pretence that there’s any justification or rationale other than ‘fuck em’
   Also really fucked up that they intentionally planned to deny people basic services no doubt knowing it’d create a deprived and crime prone area.
