[Marta Ramon] Barça are looking for ways to keep both Joao’s, given that it is unlikely they will return to the 1-1 rule this summer. That is why they are considering not signing them both at the same time and bringing in Cancelo but getting a second loan deal for João Felix.

Not the worst outcome. Fati still isn’t ready and we can’t afford a top LW + top DM + Cancelo + depth. Also Pedri and Gavi rotating as false winger has shown to work well in a lot of games
Sign Cancelo. Dont extend/sign Felix. Not consistent enough.
Another season of Felix on the left is doing no favours for Balde and then Valle who need to play alongside actual left wingers for their own development and game. Pedri/Gavi being utilised as false wingers than being in midfield is also doing no favours for their development and players like them need to actually be in midfield for the sake of the team. Cancelo is ok for squad depth dependant on the price for a player going into their 30s but the next manager should really have a say in all this and what’s their plan in using him because he’s the biggest defensive liability in the backline and to have someone like that in defence……..
