  1. It was in these early days that everyone started to realize the Russians thought this would be easy.

    This battle was captured by many different citizens living there and it played out live on Reddit over the course of a few hours.

  5. I’ll never forget the footage from the first days, they walzed in expecting to be welcomed… this entire column would end up getting ambushed and taken out.

    I also remember watching the live feeds of them advancing on a nuclear plant. I watched that live stream for hours, just fascinated it was all playing out at that very moment.

    It was so surreal at the time.

  9. Is this for sure a civilian filming? I hear what sounds like a woman’s voice in the background, but at 0:22 seconds it sounds like a muffled bolt being racked…may be something else though

  10. Ahh back when everyone thought russia was some kind of CoD MW2 2009 superpower.

    Was amazing seeing them get absolutely smacked by Ukraine early on. Seeing all those convoys ambushed especially that VDV one near Kyiv was crazy.

  13. Thought they were just going to waltz right in like they owned the neighborhood. Seeing some of the early footage again just makes my blood boil, again. It’s a wonder I haven’t popped a vein by now. Meanwhile… one MAGA worm is still holding up the current aid package in Congress… so ashamed on behalf of my country.

    I mean, attacking and advancing… you mean walking and shooting unarmed civilians?

    Just looks like sewage flowing down the street to me.
