  4. Before I made a comment about how stupid it was that she squandered all the money she probably got from the divorce, I did a little research and found out that they had a prenup. Probably the smartest move Tom ever made. Still, half a mil a year for child support, that’s insane.

    Now now I know I know in the eyes of us commoners it is exorbitant. But for their wild gala lifestyle and spending habits, is an average amount to A list celebrities.

    But I’ve seen celebrities not as successful as cruise pay more yearly in child support. He’s a producer too so add that wealth into the equation, 400k seems less than what other ppl in his status pay.

  34. First. Let’s never forget that this entire relationship was orchestrated from the start. They literally auditioned girls to have a relationship with him. So Katie Holmes is not a pawn or a fool. She knew who she was getting with when she did it.

    I’m sure Suri is thrilled to be 18. She can now decide how she wants to handle her relationship with her father. And what a relief for Katie.

    Katie doesn’t need money. I’m pretty sure her family had money (no not Hollywood money but well off) before she started acting.

    And she was savvy enough to get away from Cruise and the cult in the first place.
