  1. Meh…. I don’t really see myself giving a fuck anytime soon. Let Putin have it.

    Promises mad, promises broken.

  2. “Guess” wtf? You are the fucking president of US and you can call Putin and talk with him to see what the fuck is going on and instead of doing tgat you are “guessing”?! for fuck sake get a grip old man.

  3. It is going to happen.

All you can hope for is two things:

    1. The Ukrainians can mount an organized resistance of any kind (urban most likely) and use weaponry from acquired from the west to its maximum potential. manpads, anti tank weapons, etc.

    2. The Russian public sees images of a shitload of body bags heading back to Russia. Putin isn’t invincible politically.

  4. Putin believes Russia is disrespected in the world. His perception is true and substantiated by the many antics by the Russians like the corrupt Sochi Olympics in 2018, poisoning imprisoning and shooting his rivals, cyber crimes, and much more.
The world knows how Russia operates, and attacking Ukraine builds on this bull in a china shop approach to diplomacy

  5. ‘Minor incursion’ (quoting Biden) or a major invasion, it won’t be an easy ride for Russians. We are a large country of 40 million people with a battle-hardened army, no good feelings towards Russians after they brought the war again to our country in 2014, and readiness to defend our homes till the end. Yes, the Ukrainian army is smaller than the Russian one and cannot match it in terms of new equipment and technologies, but our biggest advantage is that we will be protecting our homeland while Russians will be fighting a useless war as aggressors and destroyers. I’m still hoping that a full-scale war doesn’t break out, because the ongoing war in the east is already more than enough for a young democracy gasping for freedom. But if it does, what else could we do other than fight back?

  6. The key thing in the conference to me was Biden saying Russia will no longer be allowed to use American dollars if they invade ukraine. That means the nuclear sanctions are still on the table.

Also interesting was how he mentioned nato members are divided, not surpised since Ukraine’s defence minister said at the last NATO meeting, UK, USA and Canada wanted an aggressive approach to Russia while Germany and France did not want to harm relations.

  7. Random point. If Russia was to invade, why can’t Poland just sweep in from the west and agree to occupy the lands until the war concludes? Doesn’t that solve many of the problems, here? It’s guaranteed the border regions will fall but not all of Ukraine has to go. Why would the Russians, say, go as far as attacking past the Dniepr if it would mean possibly attacking NATO troops?

  8. Alright, let’s see how his guess works out considering the “invasion” hysteria has been going on for 2 months without a single soldier crossing the border

  9. Putin will not invade. He won’t be in 1st battle line. He will hide in Moscow if something happens.
