  2. we saw some grabbed Bruno by the throat and face no punishment. If that doesn’t warrant a suspension of all refs involved, idk what can.

  6. The refs actually need to be harsher on his constant petulance and abuse towards them. No other player in the league gets away with constantly shouting and swearing at refs without a yellow card. Not to mention the diving and rolling around every game.

    I suspect he is sucking up to his captain because he may not have as many allies in the dressing room as he did a year ago. And in the process he is making himself look a right tit.

    Fernandes is a wind up merchant. A diver, constantly at the ref or at the opposition, his default seems to be a shrug as if it wasn’t just him that screwed up. Opposition fans hate him and boo him because he’s one of those players you love to hate He’s also a terrifically good player in his moments and the people booing him would very likely take him on their team.

    The guy would be better off leaning into all those aspects of his footballing personality than getting his manager to stick up for him.

  12. The statistic that 110 players have more fouls against doesn’t take away from this, those are simply fouls actually called. There were a couple fouls in the Forest FA cup game that were quite clear on camera, but nothing done. Let alone including the fact a Forest player literally choked Bruno and VAR didn’t recommend a red.
