Any reasonable person who is innocent would want the same. You’d want to be proven innocent before the election so you don’t have that clouding up the election and you can proclaim innocence.
Of course we all know Trump is guilty hence why he and his supporters keep wanting it to be after the election. If he wins, it goes away. If he loses, they forget about him and move on to the next Trump person to worship while claiming they never really supported Trump to begin with.
This situation really is unfair to Nikki Haley, who would most likely be the republican nominee and would likely beat Joe Biden if Trump wasn’t in the race. I legitimately think she is just trying to save the republican party.
