  1. If the french start to face the Russians in battle, I will personally drive to France and drive around sounding my horn and waving the French flag

  2. Yes yes yes. This is the perfect move.

Should’ve been done years ago but better late than never. Bravo to the French if they go through with this.

  3. It’s about time we played Russia at its own game.

Send in our own “Little Green Men” to help our ally.

When Russia complains, tell the Kremlin to stop being hysterical.

  4. If anyone thinks the French will do anything besides talking the talk .

Then you don’t know the French .

  5. Might have to do with how the ruzzians have interfered in french-speaking Africa lately and whipped up anti-french sentiment there. This will not be forgotten..

  6. I’ve been saying from the beginning that, because Ukraine and Russia are technically not in a state of war, that there’s nothing stopping Ukraine from granting foreign forces the right to occupy their territory.

Should Russian forces attack those occupying units then that would be completely on them.

Call it a diplomatic mission with armed security.

  7. Thank you France for having the balls that the rest of the west can’t seem to locate when it counts.

  8. France at least understands the stakes for which the game is being played.

  9. Because Russia is not engaging a real war, just “special military operation” as Putin says why wouldn’t NATO have its own SMO also.

  10. I wish NATO or at least the US had done this two years ago. There are already existing deconfliction backchannels for US troops being in Syria concurrently with Russian troops, so I don’t see what’s different here.

  11. Macron might have escalated the conflict with his rhetoric

  12. I think this is a pretty big brain move from the French. There is very little meaningful response the Russians could make. Chapeau

  13. J’aime l’oignon frit à l’huile,

J’aime l’oignon quand il est bon,

    J’aime l’oignon frit à l’huile,

    J’aime l’oignon, j’aime l’oignon.

Au pas camarades, au pas camarades,

Au pas, au pas, au pas,

Au pas camarades, au pas camarades,

Au pas, au pas, au pas.

  14. Protect borders with Belarus and Transnistria. So their fighting soliders can concentrate on the east and south…
