Traumatic head wound and a gun next to his body. What a strange way to describe suicide.
This will only add fuel to the fire regarding the recent #WhereIsKate conspiracies.
>He was director of Devonport Capital, which specialises in providing finance for companies in “frontier economies”.
I wonder if all is well at Devonport Capitals or if this was a mental health crisis he went through.
In any event, traumatic for the family.
It is always heartbreakingly sad to know that someone felt such pain and lack of hope.
Thomas Kingston, the husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s daughter Lady Gabriella Kingston
(For other people who’ve never heard of him and weren’t sure who he was.)

EDIT – I was convinced that I would be called out for even writing this, and I’m pleasantly surprised to see the opposite.
Hello, fellow hermits!
🤷♂️ clearly fucked up financially and couldn’t face the shame.
Poor chap, RIP. I wonder if it was at all PTSD related? He was in some fairly rough scrapes when serving as a diplomat in Iraq during the war.
He’d been having lunch with his parents. Perhaps something arose in conversation.
A real shame that someone has taken their life. But one reporting and the headline is embarrassing. Why not call it what it is? Are the royals that special
It’s a little unusual to have a gun. I wonder if that is related to his class or status?

It’s likely suicide, but they can’t say it until a coroner says it first. The issue I have is that this is only news because he is an obscure member of the British aristocracy. I’ve seen many people commit suicide over the years and it rarely even makes it into local newspapers. The only reason it is news worthy is because the media considers British aristocrats more worthy than commoners. It’s the ongoing class divide of classic British culture.
When you’re so rich and privileged that even suicide has a special reporting style eh?
That is so sad, I know his family will be massively traumatised.
But remember, according to official Royal sources, William definitely wasn’t there.
His last girlfriend before he got married was Pippa Middleton… I think that’s part of why it’s interesting… his financials grew pretty fast… Which makes me wonder if he was doing something underhanded and thought he was going to get caught… or if he had just found out that he did get caught
This is really sad. I feel for his loved ones.
It doesn’t matter if he was married to a member of the royal family or not. Some of these comments are disgusting. It’s always sad when someone apparently has such inner demons they can’t escape.
