  1. Is it something out of the ordinary that protests inside of parliamentary buildings are prohibited? Isn’t it forbidden over here in germany too? Or am I confusing things?

  2. She got fined, because she broke the rules of the House and didn’t stop her action after several warnings, either. It was not the first time, she has been sanctioned on this matter more times already . She had the right to appeal to the Immunity Committee and to ask the Parliament for voting. Both boards agreed with the Speaker of the House and rejected the appeal.

  3. Wow, that’s harsh. The most you’d get here is exclusion from the proceedings for the day. 26k bucks is cutting deeply into their pocket. Way to suppress dissenting views.

But I guess she’s lucky that she won’t get decapitated. That’s what fascist regimes used to do…

  4. We should start calling China West Taiwan. Piss off Winnie a bit more.

Lol who are the Chinese sympathizers that downvoted me? I hope I hurt your feelings. Taiwan #1

  5. Opponents believe that this move will weaken the country’s own higher education and increase the influence of the Chinese Communist regime
