  1. Such a shame they dont have a newer gen version of this type of craft already in production…

  2. With all the other stuff going on, they will probably get one made in a few years.

  3. Are they producing these before or after landing on the moon as announced?

  4. Meanwhile.. Ukraine has announced it will resume destruction of the A-50.

  5. Lol, they also said that they’re also producing more because other countries want to buy them?

    Doubt.

  6. If there are no more A50s in the air how does that diminish their battlefield capabilities?

Is it an offensive loss in terms of targeting missiles and planes (both?).

Is it a defensive loss? Protecting their planes?

    Both offensive and defensive loss?

How big of a deal is this?

  7. Would love it if Ukraine kept destroying the factory. If they can hit it in the air, who’s to say they can’t hit it on the ground!

  8. Maybe one day they’ll even start getting them off the ground again.

  9. A well placed mortar team or ten could really limit Russia’s industrial war capability

  10. guess that beriev A-100 program didn’t work out, huh?

  11. ‘the interest of foreign countries’… Well, they’ll be standing in line to buy An early air Borne radar which doesn’t see incoming missiles.

  12. You would have thought that this is something they would have done before the invasion.

  13. They also announced the contract will go to the Revell scale modeling brand and they will be delivered with 3 different starter brushes.

  14. With all the recent su-24 shoot downs – it is going to be VERY interesting to see the impact the f-16s have on the battlefield.

  15. So how long will it take to restart the production lines that have been down for decades?

  16. Good! More targets for the Ukraine air suppression to shoot down.

  17. that’s perfect. once the USSR 2.0 disolves, corrupt military generals can sell it as scrap

  18. Resume production? Using timber and animal furs, would be my best bet.

Without tech from the west I don’t think they will be able to produce them – will they?

  19. I bet polish farmers and all Western governments will have nothing against delivering them the required components.

  20. Even if they magic’d up a few of these quick, that doesn’t account for the loss of trained and experienced aircrew.
