Is it a defensive loss? Protecting their planes? Both offensive and defensive loss? How big of a deal is this? Would love it if Ukraine kept destroying the factory. If they can hit it in the air, who’s to say they can’t hit it on the ground! 2 years to build it. 30 seconds to bring it down. Maybe one day they’ll even start getting them off the ground again. Resume production? Using timber and animal furs, would be my best bet. Without tech from the west I don’t think they will be able to produce them – will they?

Even if they magic’d up a few of these quick, that doesn’t account for the loss of trained and experienced aircrew.
