  4. As a Dutch person, I didn’t expect to switch so hard on this guy. I really wasn’t fond of him until he became one of the hardest working supporters of Ukraine, and now he’s even poised to become the new NATO chief. Not bad. Faith in my country restored.

  7. As zelensky got them from plenty of european leaders by now… What is a security guarantee? Like a place for exile if they lose? Or just a fancy word for cheques to buy weapons with?
    Because it sounds like support for the war but feels more like a chance for european leaders to get a photo with him not looking angry or desperate. He has to be polite and smile if they give him something after all.

  8. Shooting down that plane was a big mistake. It mobilised western support for Ukraine in July 2014 and month later Russia was forced to send regular army to Ukraine (the thing they are now afraid the most of West doing).
