I do not understand people attacking hospital staff the very people that are there to help you at your time of need. It can’t all be blamed on mental health issues
I believe this is due to patients no longer being able to be accompanied by relatives die to covid restriction. I recently had to leave a relative at a hospital ward doors due to this. I did see one other patient relative trying to reason why they should be allowed in with their relative which was getting quite heated. Not an excuse for violence, of course, but could be a cause.
