Yes, Finnish does not formally have silent letters.
In some dialects the “t” is dropped though, and you might say “radioa” or “televisioa”
Yes.
**Finnish has no silent letters**.
Usually we add letters. Like the word “Tervetuloa” (welcome) when pronounced gets an extra t “Tervettuloa”.
Is this about the duolingo case where the audio is faulty and does not contain the whole word?
EDIT: Finnish language does not have silent letters. Just no. This is an error in the audio track.
I’m a native speaker but I couldn’t sleep the entire night and over all just am not the best at the technicalities of finnish so I’m not 100% sure about this.
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think there are any silent letters or vowels or such in finnish as our language is completely phonetic. Some regional dialects can for example completely get rid of letters or move them around but that’s a thing seperate of the main written language.
