He’s not wrong. But give those modern gender theories some time, they will come out as something more balanced and digestible for the masses.
At its current state identifying yourself with some gender is a rationale for teenagers or people in their midlife crisis to fit in somewhere. I mean, I’ve never seen a stable gender-fluid, pansexual or non-binary pairs in their 50’s with kids. And I’ve seen a lot younger couples (or triples even) trying.
At some point in life people settle, then identify themselves clearly in some way or another, or just don’t give a damn about identifying themselves anyhow and get happy with it.
It’s not only ugly. It’s nonsense. Gender is binary.
Intersex people are 1.7% of the global population. Gender dysphoria is a natural phenomenon and no powerful institution can change that reality. The Pope’s words will do nothing but cause harm.

Good. It will take some time, but humanity will recognize that this is just another mental illness where the patient thinks they are something when they are clearly not. We have recognized and explored several mental illnesses/disorders like this already, only difference is that for some reason people need to play along here to please the patient with the illness and act like it’s perfectly normal for no reason at all.
Lets hope this is still reversable for humanity’s sake.

I’m an atheist and I don’t agree with him on anything, and, the worst thing about him is his reluctance to condemn the serial child abuse within the Catholic Church and its establishments.
But, for the first time, he actually made some sense. I don’t think it threatens humanity but it does threaten basic common sense and normalises insanity en masse. What’s happening in the Anglophone world is a perfect proof of that. There’s nothing wrong in equal rights for everyone but when you shove it down people’s throat and propose indoctrination of children and normalise appropriation of women by men pretending to be “something I can’t name here” and indulging in creating inconveniences for women who actually fought hard for equality only to be dominated by new age fake women. This is insane and needs to be addressed, not only by him but also by everyone. Too much of anything is bad, be it from the right or from the left.

It’s not even about transgenderism, the Pope is threatened by a lack of differences between the genders. He’s threatened by equality.
His whole power rests on the theory that a girl met a ghost who got her pregnant.
Now he has thoughts.
Sadly these thoughts matter to (fortunately a decreasing number of) people.
People can live as they please, so and if a man wants to be wearing clothes etc. like a woman fine with me. Where I put the foot down is when this same male demands that I accept and view him as a woman, I refuse to! Period!
