    The guy was taken in by propaganda, nothing more. Now he is dead for no reason.

    We all know people like this: Trump voters, Israeli apologists, etc. They aren’t evil, they were just convinced of lies, like any of us can be.

    Should he have known better? Ofc! But it doesn’t make it less sad or wasteful.

  17. Even the most right-wing bhakt media in India didn’t downplay what Russia was doing. They spew all kinds of bullshit about West provocation, kept on hammering the “why should we interfere in a war that isn’t ours” line, and so on. But even they didn’t really try to hide that Russia was conducting a brutal invasion.

    So yeah, it’s pretty fucking tough to have sympathy for him.

    On a separate note, it’s not exactly surprising, but damn there’s a lot of racists in this thread.

  19. I wonder if Russia’s ability to recruit mercenaries has been impacted at all by the sheer number of casualties. Probably not since they come from very poor countries.

  20. Jesus fucking christ no doubt that he made a mistake joining the war, but why the disrespect? It’s a pity such a young life has ended, but all I see are racist comments or him being labelled a nazi by whatever this channel is

    I mean there are more decent ways of warning Indians not to join the war than this
