Clearly a computer effect by Hollywood to support the absurd fiction that we’re all like ants living on a giant beach ball who somehow never fall off. Even though all you have to do is go outside and look at the horizon to see that there is no curvature and you’re not standing on a sphere. If we were standing on a sphere then the earth would be tilted at a 25 degree angle this far north, but it’s not.
