Meeting drunk people on the metro always makes me nervous, because they will yell, but luckily every time it doesn’t take long for a metro security guard to come and persuade them to get off.
What I’m curious about is how did the metro security know that there was a drunkard on the metro? Did other passengers report it to HSL?

There’s cameras everywhere.
I think the guards walkthrough every metro turn at least once and they’re often checking the stations too. Passenger might probably inform about drunkards, but there’s also cameras in modern metros where the security probably will notice the bad behaviours. Nowadays almost every city’s public transport (at least in Helsinki area) has some sort of surveillance cameras.
They just patrol more frequently during drunk prone hours
And the security guards are the most violent ones.
Drunkards on the metro is as old as the metro. Sad to say that in my childhood it was a very regular occurrence.
Theres someone sitting in a room with 20 monitors
I’ve been drunk in the metro several times and never been kicked out.
Am i the only one who sees that the metro is sad
