5. Seems the UAV attack resulted in aterial bleeds in his upper left leg, a ~€30 tourniquet (*preferably a “CAT7” and not the useless “esmarch”-type that RF military issues*) would’ve prevented blood loss from arterial bleeding and possibly bought sufficient time for medevac.

   The UAV attack occured at 00:15, the individual became unresponsive around 01:40, so he had a time window of less than 90 seconds to render first aid to himself.

   Individual looks clean and shaven and decently equipped (*body armor including pouches and assault pack, leather boots, helmet*) for RF standards. The insides of his body armor are remarkably clean and without the usual abbrasions and sweatmarks (*00:14*), even the “QC” inventory sticker is still visible.

   He shouldn’t have come to Ukraine in the first place…

    I’m a professional Medic who uses tampons to stop bleeding. Here is my advice:

    Apply a tourniquet around the neck! And compress hard!

14. By the looks of the dudes last moments i would say bleeding is higher than femoralis, probably lower abdomen, like external iliac artery – genital area, since both sides of pants equally drenched? Or maybe even a leak on both vessels..?

21. That kids, is most likely the Femoral artery. Look at all that bright red oxygenated blood. Dude may have survived with nothing more than a combat tourniquet, but why would we expect soldiers on the frontline to have those eh? What a fucking joke the Russian military has turned out to be.

23. Looks like it hit an artery in the leg. Probably just below the pelvis, hard to keep pressure on that type of wound. Tourniquet might have slowed the process but he was dead without evac.
