This is a report from the mobile clinic Protect a Volunteer works with. One thing the volunteers do is to locate unexploded ordinances, tape them off, and then contact an EOD team to dispose of them. We raised $1600 for their operations in March and need more to keep them going!

This report is from August but I’m publishing it now because it’s still relevant and also talks about something that doesn’t get enough attention. What happens to all the bombs russia drops on Ukraine? Not all of them explode. Some of them just end up in civilian areas and are a risk to explode. Same with land mines.
Augustae Annia has volunteers trained to identify unexploded ordinances and safely mark them off. This report shows how they do so. Then they contact EOD technicians for removal.
This clinic operates very near the front line and hundreds of civilians depend on it for medical care. Soldiers also depend on this team to deliver supplies to the front line and military hospitals.
