  1. This stuff kinda dropped out of the news despite it having actual implications for the UK and Uk involvement. Unlike Gaza which has daily updates.

The only real update in this article is

    >Despite more than a month of air strikes against Houthi targets by the US-led naval coalition, the rebels are still carrying out significant attacks.

    >They say they will continue to target vessels in the Red Sea area until Israel stops its military campaign against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Are there any other details other than this?

  2. This is horrible, why are they doing this?

Are they just random attacks or do they have a goal/demand in mind?

  3. Why does the most important shipping route in the world have to be sandwiched between about 10 different shit holes ffs.

  4. The Houthis are operating a naval blockade. Without actually having a navy.

  5. Everyone berating and abusing the Houthis when the UK is partnering with Saudi -human rights abusing, journalist killing dictatorship – Arabia on this war. The ignorance is just astounding.

  6. Airstrikes were never going to work again s group that has already been bombarded by years of airstrikes from Saudi Arabia. The only way to deal with them will be boots on the ground but no-one has an appetite for that as it means they’ll also have to take responsibility for the famine that’s currently ravaging Yemen.

  7. UK owned but where is it registered for tax purposes?
I’m a little fed up with these tax avoiding ships getting protection on tax payers dime…

  8. How important is the “UK owned” part to this story?

Don’t these ships constantly change hands and just flag up to whatever is more financially viable at the time.

In short how English is this ship, are we getting taxes or is it just registered English for insurance purposes?
