I wonder how much tax payer money was spent to create this place

  1. Looks fine to me. Trees are tiny and will need years before they are big enough to provide some shade for the vegetation.

  2. Usually these kind of places need years to appear ready. The immediate problem I see atm is the sparcity of trees planted. Thats why it looks deserted imo.

  3. Very ironic post considering the municipality had another “ela me tin tsappa sou” event in that very exact spot last Saturday.

  4. People, the most clear indication that it’s dead: There is no litter around! This surely can’t be a popular picnic place in Cyprus.

  5. Need to take into consideration that the weather for the past few months has been very unpredictable, with sudden rains and strong winds, so that would definitely affect people visiting.

  6. Lol. What’s dead? The trees are new and new growing. Dead as in no people? It’s barely March, the weather isn’t that good, and what time were you there? It’s only 3 months old, people barely know it’s there!

  7. winter isn’t supposed to be green (technically spring now but it’s literally only the 2nd day)

  8. OP complains that trees planted in November don’t get established and grow throughout winter, blames corruption and laments his taxpayer money. Don’t know if I should laugh, cry or despair.
