During busy days early in the war both sides each fired about 10k shells per day.
That’s 300k shells per month.
1 Million shells are gone after 4 months if they take a few days off in between.
They need more. 1 mil is a nice start but they need at least 100x that as long as Russia has skin bags to keep sending in waves. Good thing is Ukraine has been busy taking out Russian artillery so once they get ammo hopefully they will have the arty advantage and really be able to push Russia back.
