I invite everyone to look at JUST the top 50 individuals in this company who are collecting more than a million dollars a year from the wealth that all “their” workers create. Compile that list. You do not need to do it for more than the top 50 people even though there are more. Compile that list and add up the sum of those 50 people’s compensation.
With that balance in hand, now go look at what workers are asking for, and being denied.
Shame. Obscene greed. Shame.
There is nothing noble, good, accomplished, or even right in the growing wealth disparities throughout this nation or even the world now. We’re on a trajectory towards 3rd world nation, where we have a relative handful of old money “royalty” and the rest of us are their indentured servants, generation after generation. And our so-called representatives are coat-tailing and catering only to those wealthy, exacerbating and accelerating the problem.
