I assume that Russian troops will be temporarily overextended, and that drones, artillery, and whatever else will make them pay. They will be moving supply lines forward, so there will be many opportunities for FPV drones that can get past the EW. We have already seen Ukraine attack with JDAM I believe.
Also, the Ukrainian AA success means that glide bombs will be much less of a factor.
New York Times is not going to report this because it doesn’t fit their crypto-Kremlin defeatist narrative LOL
Hopefully they over extend, get caught too far from safety, and then take a long nap. I wonder if a lot of these news reports about Ukraine’s lack of fortification west of Avdiivka could have been exaggerated on purpose? Obvious the ruzzians would be able to see satellite images and stuff, but I’m wondering if this was some elaborate plan.
Every kilometer they go is another two kilometers added to the supply vehicles round trip between the depot and the battlefield, which means more opportunity to hit the truck with a munition and remove it from the supply chain.
