>In this context, Fico questioned who would protect nuclear power plants and other strategic targets in Slovakia.

>Earlier the new Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, stated that Bratislava would not support providing military assistance to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression.
We are ok getting billions a year in direct eu funds that pay for anything from highways to bike paths. Also under the NATO protection guarantee companies invest billions in plants and equipments. But to give 60million to Ukraine is suddenly too much. And 70% of the idiots here are still dreaming of Russia taking us over. This is a country of spoiled, lazy, greedy, awful trolls. The eu and NATO need to start having a much harder hand with this useless self important unreliable beggar state.
Another nationalist who expects to be propped up by other countries
Times not cheap anymore. Pick a side in Ww3 or get fucked. Coming from an upset American, who’s dedicated to destroying Mike Johnson democratically in November💯💯💯
Edit: also- arm yourselves. Anyway you can legally.
Slovakia can join the CSTO if they want to. They could probably even use their geolocation as leverage when negotiating the terms.
Awesome. Can’t have it both ways, shitheads.
It’s absurd that there are still not any pan-European Lend Lease – transfer of not predominantly “surplus weapons” but main weapon stock. To use them by the most effective way.
For what exactly Italy need huge reserves of armored vehicles? To confront Russia when it will attack NATO and Italy?
Then why wait for this, if right now, already for 2 years, going on confrontation with Russia for resources that it needs to attack NATO and Italy in the future?
So much for the NATO solidarity Biden spoke of yesterday. The missile systems are deployed (as it says in the article) as part of a NATO forward basing strategy, so it’s not like Italy just unilaterally decided to send stuff and is now withdrawing it. They are actively harming NATO by doing this. Regardless of what Slovakian politicians say or do, this kind of shit emboldens Putin. Italy and Slovakia are ALLIES. Picking and choosing who you decide to help within your own defensive pact because you disagree with their policies on *a country that isn’t even a member of that pact* just makes NATO look weak, fractured and easy prey if you can simply break up the alliance. That’s what Putin wants. Don’t give Putin what he wants.
