I always thought this generation would favor rom-coms. Snappy dialogue and sometimes absurd comedy seems to be the favorite nowadays.
They had really good chemistry. The plot was a simple twist on Much Ado about Nothing but two good looking people who can sell the sexual tension? That’ll take you a long way in this business
I fail to see how The Marvels play into this scenario…
How? That movie sucked.
The best part was the last 5 minutes.
Because, unlike The Marvels, this was a good film. Didn’t take itself too seriously, good cast, plot not tooooooo contrived and can see the leads together in other things, again, unlike the Marvels.
I mean boobs, amiright?
What has Marvels to do with this film? Same director or something?
Considering how hard they’ve been pushing Sydney as the next it girl during the promotion of this movie, it better make them back that money.
The movie was a 6/10 at best but social media really helped sell this and the two leads are hot news. His previous rom com was much better, in my opinion.
It’s great news for people who like rom coms because money talks and we should get more back in the cinema. And maybe more leading actors would be interested in doing them again. I mean back in the day Tom Hanks would do rom coms..
