  3. This next decade is going to be tough regardless of the policies chosen. However, we could make the choice to spend the next decade investing in infrastructure and productivity and have a pay off at a later date, or we could continue to use tax cuts and austerity to make the rich even richer.

    I’m worried the average voter still hasn’t learned the lesson.

  4. We are already in the second lost decade. The conservatives will have been in charge for 15 years (depending on when the election is called) and even if Labour win and immediately try to start a recovery, it is highly doubtful things will be back to square one within 5 years.

    Thats 20 years!
