Hilarious moment mischievous dolphin chews on swimmer’s camera
A cheeky dolphin tried to make off with an action camera during a “Swim with the Dolphins” event at the Dolphin Discovery Centre in Bunbury, Western Australia.
Footage recorded on the camera of swimtour host Kathleen Thomson shows Lumpy, a female dolphin in her early 40s, approaching and gently nibbling at the recording device.
“Lumpy approached in her usual friendly and curious way when she took a special interest in the camera. She can be seen gently notching and investigating it with her rostrum and jaw before continuing to see other swimmers,” the Dolphin Discovery Centre Bunbury wrote.
“Never a dull moment on our swim with the dolphins tour in the City of Bunbury,” the center added.
Guests at the Dolphin Discovery Centre can encounter local wild dolphins such as Lumpy during the centre’s Swim With The Dolphin tours.
