Should they not be making a beeping noise as they backup like that?
bastards i just got a credit card with master card
Don’t make ultimatums you don’t want to be rejected. Visa is pretty darn popular and people change marriages more often than they change bank, its not like we have a choice in a lot of cases. There was also 0 chance I would change bank just to appease Amazon’s greed.
Their mission is done. Rile enough people, get said customers to sign up to their own financial model and then backtrack. Even if they just did it to piss Visa off for absurd charges and to try and throw their weight, it is a dangerous line to cross. What next will they try to get their dirty gloves all over, I wonder?
More time to sell the Amazon credit card to Visa users. I want my special offer from Amazon.
Well too late, I already switched to Amex because of this. Not complaining though, it is better than my old Visa in most aspects anyway so I will keep both.
This should come as a surprise to no-one. It was always a case of Amazon trying to frighten Visa. It was always going to be reverted at the last minute.
I wonder who blinked first. Nah, on second thoughts I don’t care.
