Real Madrid have been given a huge boost ahead of the final third of the season as Thibaut Courtois has returned to team training, as reported by Rodra.

The Belgian goalkeeper tore his ACL in preseason before the 2023/24 campaign was even kicked off. He was ruled out for pretty much the entire season, and therefore, Madrid brought in Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea on loan to replace him.

Ancelotti did provide an update on Courtois’ situation ahead of their game against Valencia on the weekend, saying, “The date has not been set. But we have to take advantage of the international break and then the mini-break for the Copa del Rey.”

“At that time they will do some work with the team. After 14 April, after Mallorca, they could be back,” he added.

  1. We didn’t feel his absence at all thanks to Lunin. Militao, on the other hand, was hard to replace.

  2. The best player in the squad is back guys.

Hope things get better from now onwards.

Wait, so you all think Don Carlo will prefer Tibo for the champions league and Lunin for la liga?
    He can do that.

  3. The return of Courtois and Militao is a great news ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)

  4. So cool they come right when we need them the most.

  5. Lunin is the megasuperstar now, sorry Tubeaut but you gonna wait on bench for a good time

  6. I don’t like rushing players from ACL Injuries so soon. And players aren’t usually the same after they return.
    Re. Jese, Asensio etc.
Good that Courtois is a keeper, but it still saps your mobility and it doesn’t return after a year or two from the injury, and maybe never. Very strange decision.
Militao is still understandable, but Courtois shouldn’t be rushed

  7. Lunin staring at em like “theres a new sheriff in town”
