As the people of Rochdale will come to realise (if they haven’t already), George Galloway has no interest whatsoever in representing the interests of the people of Rochdale and fighting to improve their lives. As he has done in the past, he has used the political mess to further his own divisive politics. His speeches in parliament will not be about Rochdale issues, they will be about what ‘he’ wants to talk about It’s worth noting though Rochdale has a population of 223,000, Galloway received 12k, 5.5%. The fact he won the seat with so few votes is a poor reflection on politics and politicians generally. When there’s a lack of good, honest and decent people in politics this is what happens.

  21. The people commenting how right and honest he is should go talk to people at Tower Hamlets Council who worked under him. Arrogant bigot who misuses public funds for his own gain

  27. The people of Rochdale deserve much better. This was a local election which should have been fought for local issues and not international agendas.
