The Army has removed the statement on their website of Princess Catherine appearing at the Trooping the Colour in June.

The announcement on the UK Ministry of Defence’s website drew attention because the appearance would be the first official duty confirmed for her since she underwent abdominal surgery.

The claim caused confusion as it had appeared on the website but was not confirmed by Kensington Palace.

However tickets for the military spectacle were being sold for the event with a picture of the princess, including a line saying she would be attending.

It appears that the army did not seek approval before publishing the page.

  4. From my understanding they removed it because they only speculated that it would be her first appearance and did not get permission. She might return before or after that event, it seems that even palace doesn't know it.

  21. I am glad to hear that the princess is doing well. Although I have a friend ( Steve Clark drummer for the band Network, not to be confused with " rock band network " [ he can be seen as the guy with long blond hair on all the lp covers < Refusal to comply , Corroded path, Last throw of the dice etc > that have band photos but his name has been removed from websites. ] ) Steve had a minor abdominal surgery which left him incapacitated for years even though the procedure was successful.     Confirmation of facts would have been an excellent choice before posting, especially given the circumstances.

    Things have to follow due process, and if not confirmed in the proper manner, it needed to be corrected.

    Going OUT, being on show, standing ling tones, etc may well be a very different thing.
    ONLY Catherine and her medical team will know when that time comes and it may vary as she recuperates.
    My dad had major abdominal surgery for a ruptured colon, NOT SAYING THAT WAS CATHERINE'S PROCEDURE! But just to say the healing was MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  40. I think the more evasive they get the more people talk about her whereabouts. Might have been easier to be less secretive, but she does deserve privacy, they’re just acting all weird about it… does make you wonder…

  45. My personal take on this is that things are NOT good. Not good at all. It goes beyond the initial expectations that she will be on her feet by Easter.
